Young women need a voice in politics

Like it or not, politics affects all of our lives. By taking an  active role in choosing who represents us, we can have more input into the decisions that govern our lives- decisions such    as how much money should be directed towards women’s medical research, what sort of child care tax deductions  should be enacted, and whether family and medical leave should be paid.

We may not all agree on the answers to these questions, but  we should have a voice in the decisions made on issues important to us.

By supporting WUFPAC, you are joining a dynamic community of young women. WUFPAC is more about empowering young women than about politics as usual. Many of our members have never been involved in politics before, but they want to join WUFPAC because they see it as a vehicle to further women’s rights.

WUFPAC holds several events each year that are both fun and informative. We invite candidates to talk to us during election years, and during non-election years we invite women in political office to speak to us about how they made their way in politics, and what issues they are working on that affect young women. We also bring in women leaders in business, media and the arts to speak to our members about issues affecting young women.

Join WUFPAC to donate to women who need your support

Your contribution will work to ensure that the interests, views and needs of young women are better represented in Washington and in state legislatures across the country. With more women entering politics at an early age, women will gain political momentum and will rise to leadership positions in Congress. With your help, we can effect real change in national policy decisions coming out of Washington.
